James Harris, 74, of Aberdeen, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Winthrop Hospital, in Minneola, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Sunday, Feb. 20), at St. Johns Baptist Church, in Aberdeen, with the Rev. Gilchrist officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Garden, Southern Pines.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Jones & Little Funeral Service, in Aberdeen.
Harris is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Harris, of Aberdeen; daughters, Diane Caldwell, of Atlanta, Ga., and Rhonda Harris, of Texas; sons, Terry McCrimmon and Jeffery McCrimmon, both of Westbury, N.Y.; sisters, Lois Jones and Barbara Primm, both Birmingham, Ala., and Lindsay Louise, of Atlanta, Ga.; and brothers, Lonnie Harris, of Westbury, N.Y., and Robert Payne, of New Castle, Del.
Jones & Little Funeral Service is assisting the family.
