Jacqueline Burley Dowen, 29, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., formerly of Carthage, passed Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, in New York.
Mrs. Dowen was born July 17, 1981, in Moore County.
A visitation was held Saturday February 19, 2011, at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
Mrs. Dowen is survived by her husband, Michael Dowen, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; her parents, Bruce Allen Burley, of Aberdeen, and Carolyn Douglas Caddell, of Carthage; a brother, James Robert Burley and wife, Nicole, of Carthage; a stepbrother, Jennings Walters, of Raeford; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Douglas, of Raeford, and Erma Burley, of Aberdeen; two nieces, Rachel and Katie Burley, of Carthage.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
