Ernest Gibson, 75, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at the Pinehurst Nursing Center, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the Bostic-Kendrick Funeral Home chapel, in Southern Pines.
He is survived by a son, Ernest Gibson Jr., of Hoffman; daughters, Deborah McGregor, of Candor, Donna Griffin, of Jonesboro, Ga., and Jacqueline Gibson, of Greensboro; brother, Charles Gibson, of Southern Pines; sister, Della Thompson, of Jackson Hamlet; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
