Connie Hale Beelendorf, 73, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at the Chapel in the Pines, Seven Lakes, with the Rev. Don Welch officiating. Interment will follow at Seven Lakes Cemetery.
Connie was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Galatia, Ill., to the late Opal Strickland and Kenneth Hale. She graduated from Sterling High School, received her B.A. from Northern Illinois University, and worked in the field of finance.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard; sons ,Doug Beelendorf and wife, Kim, of Greensboro, and Scott Beelendorf and wife, Kristy, of New Bern; daughter Lisa Beelendorf, of Framingham, Mass.; brother Jack Hale and wife, Linda; and four grandchildren, Alek, Davis, Kaitlyn and Noah Beelendorf. She was predeceased by a sister, Donna.
