Alicia Mason Mofield, 70, of Carthage, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at HCR ManorCare in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
She was born September 13, 1940, to the late Alice Ingram and Joseph Mason in Durham. She was a cosmetology instructor prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Eugene Mofield; daughter, Joanie Mofield; and three grandchildren, Caitlin Nicole, Christian and Riley.
She is predeceased by a sister, Peggy Moore.
