Rebecca Jean Stoker Davis, 58, of West End, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Faith Baptist Church, in West End, with the Rev. Tony Connor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the church.
She was born March 12, 1952, in Randolph County, to the late William Eugene Stoker and Susan Presnell Stoker. She was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church, in West End, where she enjoyed going for many years. She was employed as the office manager for more than 15 years at Stewart Construction, in Seven Lakes.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 15 years, Robert M. Davis Sr.; one son, Tony Connor and wife, Jan, of Eagle Springs; three stepsons, Robert M. Davis Jr. and wife, Faye, Edward Davis and wife, Rose, and Jerry Davis and wife, Jerri, all of Kinston; two grandchildren, Drew and Lauren Connor; 10 step-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Cocklin, of Clarksville, Ga.
