Mary L. Wills

Mary Ludwig Wills, of Rockingham, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, in Wilmington, with her children by her side.
A family graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery, in West End.
She was born Sept. 20, 1943, in Moore County to the late Clarence P. and Margaret Moore Ludwig. Mary was a homemaker, and devoted mother and wife. She loved her family and her friends. She loved to laugh and make people laugh. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She had a certain “spunk” about her that will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hall “Jack” Wills Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Wills Britt and husband, Tommy, of Laurinburg; sons, John Hall Wills III and William Burke Wills, of Rockingham, and Thomas Cameron Wills and wife, Kim, of Charleston; brother, W. Tommy Ludwig, of Dania, Fla.; and grandchildren, Mary Taylor, Curt and Katherine Britt.
