Thurman R. Flowers

Thurman Rufus Flowers, 61, of Greenville, S.C., formerly of Moore County, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, in McCall Hospice House in South Carolina.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Feb. 5, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary in Greenville.
Mr. Flowers is survived by his mother, Winnie Pratt Moore, of Vass; two daughters, Adriane Butler, of Bronx, N.Y., and Renee Whitner, of Greenville; one son, Patrick McCormick, of Decherd, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and his sisters and brothers, Charles McCrimmon Jr., Lester McCrimmon, Walter McCrimmon and Evelyn McCrimmon, all of Chapel Hill, Debra Ann Batchan, of Atlanta, Ga., James Person and Wanda Cummings, both of Winston Salem, Neil McKeithan, of New York City, N.Y., Jimmy Pratt, of Vass, and Robert Earl Addison, of Atlanta, Ga.
Purcell Funeral Home in Southern Pines assisted the family.
