Judith S. DeWitt passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, after a battle with cancer.
There will be no viewing or memorial services.
She was born July 25, 1942, and grew up in Pittsburgh, moved to Medina, Ohio, and retired to Pinehurst in April 2000. Judy worked at FirstHealth of the Carolinas at Moore Regional in the volunteer office for many years, and her heart was filled with love for her co-workers, the volunteers she worked with and the Moore Regional staff. After retirement, she volunteered as a cancer care net volunteer and discharge volunteer. No one could be happier than she was in Pinehurst.
She is survived by her husband, John Ed DeWitt, of Pinehurst; her son, Christopher N. and his wife, Nicole DeWitt, of Cincinnati; her granddaughter, Kayley Nicole DeWitt, and grandson, Riley Christopher DeWitt, also of Cincinnati; her sister, Susan Clark and her husband, Ronald Clark, of Bethel Park, Pa.; her sister-in-law Ruth DeWitt, of Pittsburgh, and her sister-in-law Jana Lee Riggle and her husband, Kenneth Riggle, of Leechburg, Pa.; and numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
