Harry Allen Hoover, of Pinehurst, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.
A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Boles Funeral Home, in Pinehurst.
Born in Greensboro and raised in Washington, D.C., Mr. Hoover was a graduate of Penn State and was employed by the Department of Defense for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hoover; son, Lance Hoover and wife, Sherri Hoover; daughter, Gretchen Hoover Anderson and husband, Peter Anderson; and grandchildren, Ryan Hoover, McKensey Hoover and Gage Anderson.
