Nancy J. DeVine, 58, of Southern Pines, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at the home of her sister, Mary DeVine, in Lincoln, R.I.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at St. Anthony’s Church, in Southern Pines. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Henry Charles and Virginia Braugham DeVine. Nancy graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I., with a bachelor’s degree in English. She was the affiliate operations manager for Habitat for Humanity of the N.C. Sandhills.
She is survived by a brother, Col. Peter J. DeVine, USMC; two sisters, Mary DeVine and Connie Cash; a nephew, Daniel Camiolo and his wife, Anniemae; and a niece, Mandi Douglass and her husband, Deylon.
