HONEYCUTT

Ludie Mae Gregory Honeycutt, 62, of Vass, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Morrison Manor Hospice House, in Laurinburg.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Horace E. Warwick officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Honeycutt was born Dec. 20, 1948, in Durham, to Jesse Martin and Clara Lee Gregory Sr. She worked as a CNA with Manor Care and was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Aberdeen. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Honeycutt is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Larry J. Honeycutt; one daughter, April Honeycutt Locklear and husband, Robert, of Red Springs; two brothers, Glenn Lee Gregory, of Sanford, and Jesse M. Gregory Jr., of Kansas; and one grandchild, Seraphim Aster Locklear. She was preceded in death by her parents.
