NALL

Ronald Jay Nall, 54, of Carthage, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at his home.
A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Eugene Ussery and the Rev. John Chavis officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Carolyn King, in Carthage.
Mr. Nall was born Jan. 1, 1957, in Pinehurst, to J.E. and Hazel Johnson Nall. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked as a contractor and painter. He was a loving father, son and brother and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Nall is survived by his son, Daniel Shane Nall, of Summerville, S.C.; his mother, Hazel Johnson Nall, of Carthage; three sisters, Carolyn King and husband, Jimmy, Wanda Wilson and husband, Freddie, and Melondy Workman and husband, Allen, all of Carthage; and a close friend, Sandra Futrell, of Summerville. He was preceded in death by his father, J.E. Nall.
