Carl John Auger, 43, passed on to the Lord Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, in Pinehurst.
A celebration of life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at the Sandhills Alliance Church, in Pinehurst.
Carl was born Sept. 18, 1967, in Buffalo, N.Y. He was employed by Pinehurst Resort and was a previous chef/owner of a Crust Above Restaurant, in Rutland, Vt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Auger; and his father, Carl Auger. He is survived by his son, Mason Bryan; his mother, Patricia Lippke, of West End; his brother, John Auger, of Florida; in-laws Jane and Merrill Outslay, of Mendon, Vt.; and his far-reaching, loving family and friends.
