Romello Matthews Monroe, age 2 months, of Carthage, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at St. Mary’s Holiness Church, in Carthage. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in St. John Church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Carmen Matthews, and father, Willie Monroe Jr.; grandparents Charles (Monalisa) Matthews and Willie (Vanessa) Monroe Sr.; great-grandparents Lois Ray Jones, Pastor Betty Lee and Elsie Lee Monroe; brothers Jamere, Travon and Elijah Monroe; and sisters Shaquan and Jocelyn Monroe.
