HUGGINS

Paul Anthony Huggins, of Pinehurst, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at the Inn at Quail Haven, in Pinehurst.
The family will receive friends and family from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at their home at 340 Lake Forest Drive, Pinehurst.
He was born Nov. 14, 1929, in West New York, N.J., the son of Paul A. Huggins Sr. and Elizabeth Murphy Huggins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Infantry Division, serving in Korea from 1950 to 1953. He received the Korean Service Award, three Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; son, Michael (Carol); and two grandsons, Jordan and Aaron; as well as several nieces and nephews.
