Gail Ashworth Brown, 55, of Aberdeen, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Crumpler Funeral Home chapel, in Aberdeen. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown was born Jan. 12, 1956, in Lee County. She was employed as a pharmacy technician for Walmart in Aberdeen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Mae Epps Ashworth; and her brother, Anthony Ray Ashworth.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff W. Brown, of Aberdeen; one son, Jeremy Jones and his wife, Sonja, of Aberdeen; two daughters, Joni Jones, of Greenville, and Carey Bishnoi and her husband, Akash, of Watford, England; her father, Clarence Ashworth, of Texas; one brother, Timothy Ashworth, of Texas; two sisters, Janet Reece and husband, Mike, of Lillington, and Susie Cotten and husband, David, of Moncure; and seven grandchildren, Jessica Ellis, Angellica James, Daniel Critelli, Charlie Critelli, Aryan Bishni, Evan Jones and Felicity Jones.
