Hugh Braxton Wilder

Hugh Braxton Wilder, 78, of Southern Pines, died peacefully Friday, Aug. 5, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Boles Funeral Home chapel, in Southern Pines, with the Rev. Archie Stevens officiating.
He was born Jan. 5, 1933, to Braxton Earl Wilder and Eva Brown Wilder, of Selma.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Narron Wilder; a son, Gregory Hugh Wilder and wife, Woody, of Ellerbe; a daughter, Paulette Wilder and husband, Carl Schumacher, of Durham; and two grandchildren, Dylan Wilder Schumacher and Ally Wilder Schumacher.
