Vellon Hunsucker Craven, 84, of Robbins, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Needham’s Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. James Cockram officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at the Joyce-Brady Chapel, in Bennett, and other times at the home.
Mrs. Craven was a Moore County native, and worked in quality control in the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Craven.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Miller and husband, Arthur, of Robbins, and Peggy Prevost and husband, Jerry, of Ramseur; son, Ricky Craven and wife, Kim, of Carthage; brothers, Norvell Hunsucker, of Robbins, and Jackie Hunsucker, of Tennesee; four grandchildren, Lisa Johnson, of Troy, Tonya Collard, of Robbins, and Miranda Craven and Dalton Craven, both of Vass; and nine great-grandchildren
