Jeannette Morin Delmore, 99, of Quail Haven Village, in Pinehurst, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Bethesda Cemetery, in Aberdeen. Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines, prior to the service.
Born in Lowell, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Albert Morin and Philomena Boisvert. She lived most of her life in Lowell, where she attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Jeannette worked in various industries from World War II through the Korean War, from assembling life preservers to working at Raytheon Company. In her later years she lived with her daughter in Hamlet. 
She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Delmore; her husband, Martin F. Delmore; and her five sisters and two brothers; all of Lowell.  She is survived by her daughter Constance M. Sandorff, of Hamlet; her son, Martin F. Delmore Jr. and his wife, Ruth, of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Martin A. Sandorff, of Washington, Susan (Sandorff) Murray and her husband, Charles, of Raleigh, William P. Sandorff, of Byron, Ga., John Delmore and his wife, Kristen, of Lowell, and David Delmore and his wife, Kate, of Sudbury, Mass.; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Sarah Sandorff, Drew and Alie Delmore, and Darius and Jasmine Delmore; and several nieces and nephews.
Jeannette loved her hot tea and sitting in the sun. She also loved her “granddog” Chihuahua, Cici, who would always put a smile on her face and was her afternoon nap partner.
