Betty Hill Lowery, 65, of Aberdeen, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Watson family cemetery, in Marston. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Boles Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
She was born Feb. 1, 1946, to the late Will Hill and Gracie Edna Gainey Hill.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Wilkins Black, of Aberdeen; two grandchildren, Forrest Drew Black and Ashlee Marie Black; two brothers, Buddy Hill and wife, Linda, of Sanford, and Leo Watson and wife, Pauline, of Missouri; a sister, Edna Hill, of Johnsonville; and a son-in-law, Forrest Gene Black, of Pinebluff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Hill and Helen Hill; and a son, James Ray Wilkins.
