Alexander C. Conolly, 89, of Southern Pines, died Monday, April 18, 2011, at his home in Belle Meade, with his children at his side.
Services will be held in New Jersey.
Born in 1921 in Chicago, Al married Lorraine (1924-2010) in 1943 and lived five years in Michigan, 20 in Florida, three in Louisiana, 20 in New Jersey and 21 in Pinehurst. During his time in the Pinehurst area, he cultivated many friendships and was revered, loved and respected by many.
