Dorothy Watson Rogers, 76, of Rowland, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at Morrison Manor, in Laurinburg.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in Boles Funeral Home chapel, Rowland, with the Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rowland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, James Duncan “Dunk” Rogers; one daughter, Janice “Jan” Shooter and her husband, Ricky, of Rowland; two brothers, Hagood Watson and Hubert Watson, both of Dillon, S.C.; three sisters, Jane Collins, of Mullins, S.C., and Nan Carmichael and Ann Byrd, both of Latta, S.C.; one grandson, Keith Shooter and his wife, Victoria Riddle Shooter; and one great-grandson, Wilton Keith Shooter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Scotland Count, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
Services are being handled by Boles Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Rowland.
