John F. Wade

John “Jake” F. Wade, 71, of Whispering Pines, died Saturday, March 12, 2011.
Jake was born June 28, 1939, in Overlook Belmont, N.J., to the late Robert U. and Aina Victoria Wade. He was preceded in death by his first love, Patricia Payne Wade.
Jake is survived by his companion and second love, Libby Cope, of Aberdeen; and nieces, Pamela Boyle, and her husband, Kevin, and Cindy Wade and her companion, Del Pitzer, all of Florida.
Until his retirement, he was employed in the maintenance department at St. Joseph of the Pines. Jake enjoyed traveling with Libby. He worked hard all of his life and was a kind and gentle man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
