Eleanor Florence Truesdale Enlow

Eleanor Florence Truesdale Enlow, 92, of Aberdeen, died Friday evening, April 8, 2011, at her home.
Eleanor was born December 16, 1918, to Herbert and Ella Truesdale in Summerville, Mass. Her mother passed away shortly after she was born, and she was lovingly reared by step-mother, Bessie Truesdale, in Watertown, Mass.
She is a graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton, Ill., and later worked with her father in Child Evangelism Fellowship.
On December 13, 1944, she was married to the Rev. Elmer R. Enlow Jr., who passed into the presence of the Lord in May 2006, after more than 60 years of marriage.
They labored together in the Lord’s work for many years as the Rev. Enlow pastored churches in Otisfield, Maine, Foxboro, Mass., Swansea, Mass., and Attleboro, Mass. They also resided in Nyack, N.Y. for several years as the Rev. Enlow taught at Nyack Missionary College.
For many years, they resided in Lake City, Fla., before settling in Aberdeen.
She is survived by three children, Philip Enlow (wife, Laurene), of Aberdeen, Janice Decker (husband, Timothy), of Lexington, Va., Carol Waite (husband, Roger), of Attleboro, Mass., eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A visitation is planned at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines on Monday, April 11, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m.
A graveside service at the Bible Tabernacle cemetery will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 3 p.m.
