Kenneth C. Ishman, 80, formerly of Claremont, Calif., and Pinehurst, passed Saturday, April 2, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Ishman was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Knoxdale, Pa., to the late Wayne and Sara (Chapman) Ishman. He was an avid golfer. He was a loving, quiet, caring man with a humorous side. His deep blue eyes expressed his love and thankfulness to those who grew to become part of his life.
Mr. Ishman is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rose M. Ishman; a brother, Paul Ishman, of Lancaster, Pa.; a sister, Lois Smith, of Phoenix; a goddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne Ishman Jr., Gene Ishman, George Ishman and Robert Ishman.
