Rebecca Lee Atkinson Hamilton, 82, of Pinehurst, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional in Pinehurst.
She was born March 19, 1928, in Chesapeake, Va., to Norman Alfred and Nanny Jane Tucker Atkinson.
She was a legal secretary in the State House in Charleston, W.Va. She volunteered at the Houston International Airport Chapel for many years and was active in the First Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas.
She was predeceased by her husband, James B. Hamilton; her daughter, Ann Mari;e and her parents.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
