Kenneth A. Peifer, of Lexington, Mass., formerly of Southern Pines, and Pittsburgh, Pa., died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was retired from the Dravco Corporation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lees Peifer.
He is survived by his children, K. Lee Peifer and his wife, Sharret Rose, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Pamela J. Peifer and her husband, Stephen McKenna, of Lexington, Mass.; five grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
