Jimmy D. Kennedy, 77, of Robbins, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist church cemetery, conducted by the Rev. James Stalnaker and Edwin Moore.
A native of Moore County, he worked in textiles most of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Kennedy.
There are no immediate survivors. He has a local cousin who helped him and looked after him, Jimmy Kennedy and his wife, Pam, of Robbins.
Visitation will be at Kennedy Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to any local BB & T bank to help with funeral expenses.
