Beulah G. Williams
Beulah Garner Williams, 84, of Robbins, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Smyrna United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tal Madison and the Rev. Joe Forbes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County, she was retired from Ithaca Industries and was very active in her church, serving in the United Methodist Woman, on the administrative board and in the church choir. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Burke Williams; brother, Cecil Garner; and sisters, Odessa Greene and Marie Owens.
Surviving are her son, Chris Williams and wife, Sharon, of Iron Station; daughter, Anna Garner and husband, Donald, of Robbins; brothers, Jimmy Garner, Bill Garner and Elmo “Bud” Garner, of Robbins; sister, Dorothy McNeill, of Asheboro; five grandchildren, Adam Garner, Laura Garner, Christy Love and husband, Tim, Shellie Cobb and husband, Brent, and Hilary Mauney and husband, Christopher; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Love.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Kennedy Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
