Wayne Carroll Mills, 49, of 200 Woodland Road, Rockingham, died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
Wayne was born May 23, 1960, in Chesterfield, S.C., son of Hazel Z. Mills and Mary Miles Mills.
He was a self-employed farmer and a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Keith Mills.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, Thursday, April 1, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry McDaniel and Pastor Jerry Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Mills, of the home; father, Hazel Z. Mills, of Chesterfield, S.C.; brothers, Jerry Mills and wife, Pam, of Chesterfield, S.C., Randy Mills and wife, Linda, of Chesterfield, S.C.; sister, Mary Lynn Rivers and husband, Steve, of Chesterfield, S.C.; father-in-law, Bobby Wheeler and Sharon Reid, of Pinehurst; mother-in-law, Patty Napier and husband, Ed, of Hamlet; brother-in-law, Robby Wheeler and wife, Lisa Wheeler, of Hamlet; sister-in-law, Allison Smith and husband, Jimmy, of Rockingham; nieces and nephews, Taylor W., Taylor S., Hailey, Patrick, Jeremy, Brian, Eric, Stephanie, Kim and Kevin; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
