Floyd Donald Fritz, 76, of Aberdeen, passed Thursday March 25, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Mr. Fritz was born Oct. 15, 1933, in Cabarrus County to the late Eugene Fritz and Mary Huneycutt Fritz.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst with the Pastor Bryon Rainbow officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.
Mr. Fritz is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dottie K. Fritz; three sons, Floyd Fritz and wife, Kaye, of Aberdeen, Rodney Fritz and wife, Lili, of Davie, Fla., and Mike Fritz and wife, Judy, of York, S.C.; a sister, Evelene Woodard, of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Kelly and Ashley, of Aberdeen and Victoria Fritz, of Davie, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fritz was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Helms, Dorothy Thomas and Betty Wilson.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst.
