Sandra Strother McDaniel, 64, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, in Lillington.
A private service will be held. Powell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Born Aug. 14, 1945, in Wilmington, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Kate Lamb Strother and was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Lanham.
She is survived by a daughter, Patrice McDaniel, of Aberdeen; a son, Stewart McDaniel, of Pinebluff; two sisters, Barbara Whitaker-Mays, of Pinehurst, and Brenda Knelson, of Morehead City; a brother, Philip Strother, of Aberdeen; and five grandchildren.
