Larry Wayne Allen, 68, of Robbins, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at Browns Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Burton King officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Moore County to Dossie and Bertie Freeman Allen. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy, and was a retired foreman with Standard Mineral Company Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Jane Bryson Allen, of the home; daughter, Teresa Allen, of the home; sons, Kenneth W. Allen, of Robbins, Brian Allen and wife, Juanita, of Robbins, Ricky Allen and wife, Patty, of Eagle Springs; sister, Twila Allen Upchurch, of Robbins; brothers, Vinson Allen, of Asheboro, Fairel Allen, of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Joshua Allen, Addison Allen, Aaron Frausto, Alli Frausto.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main St., in Star.
