George Andrew “Andy” Austin, 52, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
He was the son of Georganne Thompson Austin and the late H. Stanley Austin.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancee Jordan K. Baker; sisters, Becky A. Hamilton, of Mint Hill, Sally A. Sump, of Durham; brother, Hal S. Austin, of Morehead City; aunt, Linda T. Posey, of Clemmons; and uncle, Don M. Thompson, of Richmond, Va.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Powell Funeral Home with a reception immediately following the service. The burial service will be private.
