Millard Owen Clark, 64, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Summerfield, to the late Daniel Clyde Clark and Mary Eliza Priest Clark. Mr. Clark was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served as a member of the USMC League Mt. Mitchell Detachment. He was also a member of Hefner Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Regina Storie Clark; one son, Jonathan Kyle Clark and wife, Lisa; one stepdaughter, Alison Storie; one brother, Daniel Clark and wife, Cindy; two sisters, Linda Griffin and husband, John, and Brenda McKenrick and husband, Tom; one granddaughter, Michelle Clark; one stepgrandson, Justin Hollors; and his mother-in-law, Luella Storie.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 29, in McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion with the Rev. Mark Hollifield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 30, at Oakboro Cemetery in Oakboro.
