Katherine Wiley Muddimer, 100, of Southern Pines, passed away peacefully Monday, April 26, 2010.
Born Jan. 22, 1910, to the late Robert and Verdie Tuck Wiley, Katherine lived in Southern Pines most of her 100-plus years.
Katherine, or Kitty as she was known to her friends, was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Muddimer, and her sister, Sara Wiley Schaefer. She is survived by her niece, Jean Schaefer Bartlett, and two great-nieces, Katherine Bartlett Kukor and Linda Bartlett Moore.
A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Southern Pines at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28. The family would like to thank Penick Village and all of her friends and loved ones at Penick for more than 30 years of care and friendship.
