Joanne A. Purcell, 71, of Raeford, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Purcell Funeral Home, 301 N. Kings St., Laurinburg. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at St. Mary’s Christian Pentecostal Holiness, Red Springs.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Gillespie and Brenda Glenn, both of Raeford; four sons, Carl Purcell, of Lorton, Va., Frederick Purcell, of Aberdeen, Jerry L. Purcell and Franklin Purcell, both of Raeford; two sisters, Truemilla McNeil, of Wagram, and Bertha Mae Johnson, of Greensboro; one brother, James Hailey, of Wagram; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
