Elaine J. Mueller

After living courageously with Parkinson’s disease for nearly 15 years, Elaine Joyce Mueller, 75, of Seven Lakes, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, April 22, 2010.
Born on July 15, 1934 in Mich., Joyce and her husband, Dennis, lived in South Bend, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Atlanta before moving to Seven Lakes. In her professional career, she was a licensed insurance agent, bookkeeper and office manager for various organizations. All her life, but especially in her retirement, she enjoyed playing mahjong, canasta, euchre and other games with many circles of friends.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Mueller; her children, Bill Bentley, Beth Bentley and Mark Crutchfield; and her grandsons, Brian and Adam Bentley and Luke Crutchfield.
Preferring to have flowers while she could enjoy them, the family requests that donations be made in Joyce’s name to the American Parkinson Disease Association Inc., Parkinson Plaza, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY, 10305-1425. April is Parkinson Awareness month.
May the angels she has drawn comfort from throughout her life now bear her to her eternal rest.
Boles Funeral Home of Seven Lakes is assisting the family.
