Thelma Ritter Brewer, 87, of Robbins, died Thursday April 22, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Johnny Frye and the Rev. Mike Weber will be officiating.
Mrs. Brewer was a native of Robbins and worked in the savings and loan industry for many years. She was member of the church choir and served on the Social Services Board of Moore County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, June Brewer.
She survived by her daughter, Kitty Spillman and husband, Robert, of Raleigh; and two grandchildren, Robert Spillman Jr., of Wilmington, and Andrew Spillman, of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends after the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.
