Nettie Jane Garner Hussey, 88, of Robbins, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Randolph Hospital, in Asheboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at Smyrna United Methodist Church, Robbins where she was a member. The Rev. Tal Madison will be officiating, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thompson Hussey; infant son, Denny Ray Hussey; brothers: Robert, Curtis, Lennie, Eli, Edgar and Eugene; sisters, Mattie Hussey and Maie Ritter; and one great-granddaughter, Erica Morgan.
She is survived by two sons, Leon Hussey and wife, Carolyn, of Robbins, Harold Hussey and wife, Cathy, of Robbins, and a daughter, Clarice Morgan and husband, Ernest, of Seagrove; a sister, Myrtie Hussey, of Seagrove; seven grandchildren, Andy Hussey and wife, Lala, of Apex, Dustin Hussey and wife, Clarkie, of Robbins, Eric Morgan and wife, Jeanna, of Seagrove, Jody Morgan and friend, Patricia, of Seagrove, Mark Morgan and wife, Crystal, of Seagrove, Tina Ayers and husband, Brett of Chapel Hill, and Brandon Hussey and wife, Tamra, of Robbins; 13 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Mollie Hussey, Brianna and Brantley Hussey, Lauren, Thomas and Miles Morgan, Kayley Garner, Luke and Alyssa Hussey, Georgia, Charlotte and Campbell Ayers.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and at other times at the home.
