Leroy A. Aldinger, 88, of Southern Pines, passed away peacefully of causes incident to old age Friday, April 2, 2010.
Lee was born Sept. 15, 1921, in York, Pa., the son of Jacob G. and Anna Catherine Walker Aldinger. On Jan 23, 1944, he married the love of his life, Betty Alverta Bischoff, who preceded him in death in 2003.
They had two children, Craig Ernst (whereabouts unknown) and Mari Catherine (Dan) Fritz, of Billings, Mont. He had two grandchildren, Jacob, of Billings, Mont., and Megan, of Orem, Utah.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
