Richard W. McLaughlin, 76, of Raeford, died Monday, April 5, 2010, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Leach Spring Baptist Church, 821 Arabia Road, Raeford.
Surviving are his wife, Daisy McLaughlin, of Raeford; daughter, Carla McLaughlin Tucker, of Raeford; sons, Anthony McLaughlin and Lewis McLaughlin, both of Aberdeen, and Richard W. McLaughlin Jr., of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, J.D. McLaughlin and Julius McLaughlin, both of Greensboro, and Sterling McLaughlin and Roscoe McLaughlin, both of Raeford; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
