Frederick William Sullivan, 81, of Southern Pines, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, at the Belle Meade Chapel in Southern Pines with the Rev. Anthony Nicola officiating.
Mr. Sullivan was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Fall River, Mass., to the late Frederick W. and Ruth Mottershead Sullivan. He was a retired utility company executive, moving to the Pinehurst area with his wife in 1992. He loved golf and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bernice; a son, William and wife, Barbara of Spring, Texas; a daughter, Karen and husband, Stephen, of Katy, Texas; two grandchildren, Ian and Gregory Sullivan of Spring, Texas.
