Betty Lemper, 85, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in Pinehurst.
She was born Aug. 7, 1924, to Paul and Bessie Freeman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lemper; her parents; and six siblings.
She is survived by one brother, Jack Freeman, of Bokeelia, Fla.; daughter, Carole Lemper, of Greensboro; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Robert Wesner, of Carthage; a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Kathy Lemper, of Garrett, Ind.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two daughters in her heart, Mary K. Graf and Debra Pompeo, of Greensboro.
Her remains will be buried next to her husband in the Cedar Creek Cemetery in DeKalb County, Ind. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moore Humane Society in Carthage.
