Arthur J. Seiler, 97, formerly of Pinehurst Trace, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010, in Baltimore, Md.
Mr. Seiler was born May 15, 1912, in Catonsville, Md. He married Martha Johnson in 1977. He and Martha moved to North Carolina in 1987. In February 2009, the couple moved to Baltimore, Md., to be close to family. Mrs. Seiler died Oct. 3, 2009.
Before marrying, Mr. Seiler was a bookkeeper for many years while living in Bethesda, Md. In his younger years, he was in the hardware store business with his brother and drove a taxi in Baltimore, Md.
Arthur was preceded in death by former wife, Dorothy Seiler; and brothers, William, Ernest, Carl and Milton; and sisters, Lucy, Mary, Dorothy, Amela and Alma.
He is survived by his four loving children, Wendy Seiler, James Hollister, Charles Hollister and Greg Johnson; and his cherished grandchildren, Karen Weber and Kevin Hollister; and his great-granddaughter, Allison Weber.
The family will receive friends in the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1609 Kurtz Ave. in Lutherville, Md. Saturday, April 10, from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m., with a reception dinner to follow.
