Paschal Teague, 83, of Vass, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 2, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Newton and the Rev. Brad Marona officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Chatham County, he was a retired long distance truck driver. During his retirement he enjoyed hauling pinestraw and loved his dog, Bandit. He was a member of Jonesboro Heights Eastern Star and a life member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Teague; two brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Pansy Richardson Teague; daughters, Lila Kay Roberts and husband, Jim, of Cameron, Kay Mitchell and husband, Jim, of Sanford, Vicki Comer and husband, Ronnie, of Cameron; and a son, Alex Marion and wife, Tascha, of Vass; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
