Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with two armed robberies at the same Southern Pines pizza place.

Claude Christopher Miles, 42, is accused of a robbery reported about 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Little Caesars Pizza on U.S. 15-501. Authorities say Miles is believed to have robbed the same business around the same time on Dec. 17.

In an advisory issued Saturday evening, the Southern Pines Police Department announced it had obtained warrants charging Miles with first-degree kidnapping and two counts of robbery with a firearm. The advisory said the suspect “is known to frequent Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Raeford and Eastwood.”

According to the Police Department, Miles “should be considered armed and dangerous and the community should not approach this wanted felony suspect if he is observed.” The agency said it has previously charged Miles with robbery with a firearm, breaking and entering, violation of probation, theft of a motor vehicle, larceny and other offenses.

Miles is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. The word “soup” is tattooed on his left hand and the word “tribal” is tattooed on his left forearm.

Anyone with information about Miles’ whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department at 910-692-7031. Information can also be provided anonymously by calling the agency’s Crime Tip Line at 910-693-4110.
