Seven Lakes Garden Club
Longleaf Garden Club has had a busy season. At the Nov. 17 meeting, Larry Cohen, Master Gardener, gave a talk on "The Propagation of Houseplants."
Elizabeth Tezza, Kiwanis International Trustee and member of the East Cooper/Mount Pleasant Kiwanis Club, in South Carolina, told Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills members on Nov. 14 that $19 million has been raised in KI's worldwide service project to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus from the face of the Earth.
Whispers, the philanthropic women's organization in Whispering Pines, recently dispersed $7,500 in donations to several local charities, in time for the holidays.
