"Hot Glass, Cold Beer" is a unique fundraiser for STARworks Glass that will be held Tuesday, March 26.

STARworks Glass artists will demonstrate their skills in the studio as they push the limits of hot glass to put on a show.

The show is free to the general public.

There will be an opportunity to purchase hand-blown glasses for $25 and up, which will be filled with the patron's choice of locally brewed beer, wine or soft drinks while they enjoy the demonstration.

The purpose of this event is to provide a "friendraiser" to generate more support for STARworks and its programs.

Business owners are encouraged to host a "Hot Glass, Cold Beer" night by inviting friends and colleagues to attend. There is no charge to host. All ages are welcome, but patrons must be 21 or older with a valid ID to consume adult beverages.

Visit www.STARworks NC.org for more information.

To RSVP, call (910) 428-9001 or e-mail Jane@ CentralParkNC.org.

STARworks is located at 100 Russell Drive in Star, just off I-73/74 in northern Montgomery County.

The entrance for "Hot Glass, Cold Beer" will be in the back of the building at the top of the wooden deck.
